Visit all the must see sites in the city with plenty of opportunity to walk around and see everything up close.
Climb the hill of Montjuic and see the buildings created because of the 1929 World’s Fair Exhibition. Our first stop will be on the top of the hill where you will enjoy an amazing view of the city and the commercial port.
We'll continue on to the Gothic Quarter, where you will enjoy a nice walking tour and view the Medieval buildings. This area is also mixed with the Roman Old city walls and some modern construction.
On the way to Sagrada Familia you will see the Cataluña square, the famous Passeig de Gracia where Gaudí's most important buildings sit. Casa Batlló (known locally “the house of bones”) and Casa Milá (a deeply controversial building nicknamed “La Pedrera”).
Arrive at Sagrada Familia and see the amazing façades (optional inside guided tour with purchased tickets to skip the lines). The basilica was started in 1882, but still not completed. Yes, you read that correctly. The outside is expected to be finished by 2030! Step inside where the real beauty exists. The sunlight reflects the stain-glass where you can admire the vast colors around you.
Optional visit to Park Guell, a project planned by Gaudí that was intended to be a single-family subdivision. Although never completed, the park remains one of Gaudi’s most colorful and playful works.
On your way back you will see Las Ramblas, the most famous Barcelona Street, for a true taste of the city.
