A Passport Book is REQUIRED for all international travel by air, and most destinations require that your Passport Book MUST BE VALID for at least 6 months past return travel dates. Please make sure to use the link below to check specific cruise or destination documentation requirements. You can be denied boarding if the required documents are not presented.
Your first and last names must match on your passport book or REAL ID (if acceptable) and airline tickets EXACTLY. Many cruise lines and/or airlines also require your middle name on the booking if it is shown on your legal ID; for this reason we recommend that your FULL LEGAL NAME be shown on all bookings exactly as shown on the government issued photo ID that you plan to use for travel.
Please note that cruises booked using travelers' cruise line loyalty numbers may reflect names as shown on the loyalty account. Please review this information carefully. If your name has changed, you may need to update it first on your account with the cruise line before we are able to change it on your cruise reservation. Your name on the cruise line loyalty account, the new cruise reservation and your passport or other ID documents to be used when you board the ship MUST match EXACTLY or you could be denied boarding.
