Upon arrival, join a guided minibus tour introducing you to the island’s history, culture, and dramatic Atlantic scenery. Learn about its Gaelic traditions and distinctive way of life while visiting some of Inis Mór’s most significant sites.
A highlight is Dún Aonghasa, a prehistoric stone fort perched high above the Atlantic Ocean. Dating back more than 3,000 years, it is one of Ireland’s most remarkable ancient sites and offers sweeping views of the island and surrounding coastline.
Enjoy time for lunch at a local café or restaurant before returning to the ferry.
Please note: Reaching Dún Aonghasa requires an uphill walk of approximately one kilometre over uneven and, in places, rough natural terrain. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended.
Lunch is on your own today.
