In a nutshell… we’re all about fun vacations at sea and ashore! A Carnival cruise features day and nighttime entertainment like stage shows, musical performances, deck parties, casinos and more. (Like what? Like waterslides!) We invite our guests to come as they are, and we make everyone feel right at home with comfy staterooms, attentive service, casual and elegant dining, plus a variety of bars and gathering places indoors and out. Our 29 ships operate cruises as short as a weekend, with others as long as a week or two. These ships set sail from every coast in the U.S. — we have 13 domestic homeports, two in Australia, plus seasonal sailings from Europe. While we’re best known for Caribbean cruises, we sail to other exotic, amazing destinations like Mexico, Alaska, The Bahamas, Hawaii, the South Pacific, New Zealand and Asia.

In summer 2025, we began welcoming guests to Celebration Key, an exclusive Carnival-owned destination on Grand Bahama island, and a member of Carnival's Paradise Collection. Our fleet of ships will be growing, too, with five new ships debuting through 2033, including our fourth and fifth Excel class ships (Carnival Festivale in 2027, and Carnival Tropicale in 2028), plus three additions from an all-new ship class.

Academy of Fun

A mind forever voyaging brings its bearer infinite returns. What we’re saying is, give your mind a little treat — take it on a Carnival Journeys cruise! Since a relaxing vacation doesn’t have to mean switching off completely, Carnival Journeys includes all-expenses-paid scholarship to the Academy of Fun, an enriching series of onboard courses designed to help expand your horizons. Look beyond the horizon and see stars as one of the ship’s officers walks you through the historical art and science of celestial navigation — how mariners navigated the seas long before radar and GPS. For something more twenty-first century, try a #fun class in social media, or a photography 101 course that’ll teach you how to take photos beyond just pointing and shooting. (These are just a few of the courses we’ve offered in the past, but you never know what we’ll be offering on your Carnival Journeys cruise!)

Cruise on a Carnival ship without its staff of hundreds and… well, you’d be pretty busy! From our experienced officers to our friendly and accommodating staff and crew, they do what they do to make every Carnival cruise the comfy, relaxing, fun vacation that it is.
