Highlights Include:
La Cambe. German cemetery: A powerful place and with a well thought out visitors' center with a huge map of Normandy - useful to start the tour with a briefing and to understand the layout of the DDay sites.
Sainte mère Église: Next comes the market town of Sainte Mere Eglise made famous in the Longest Day film and the center of the American Airborne drops. I will explain the role of the American paratroopers and walk you around the square with its monuments and displays.

- Utah Beach: See the beach and memorials and learn what happened on June 6th 1944 - the landings and the characters involved, including Theodore Roosevelt Jr
- Dick Winters monument. 101st US Division. 506 Regiment.
- La pointe du Hoc: See the cliff-top German gun battery that has become one of the most world famous DDay sites. Here you can see the many craters and bunkers and you will hear how the Rangers scaled the cliffs to destroy the dangerous canons that could potentially fire on Utah and Omaha beaches.
