Locally owned and operated, Wilderness Express railcars are the most innovative in the travel industry. Custom built for use on the Alaska Railroad, the railcars are among the largest in the world. The width of our cars offer the smoothest ride with little to no sway making the journey exceptionally comfortable for all guests. Our reclining leather seats offer generous legroom for traveling comfort. Each leather-upholstered seat has power outlets available for guest convenience.
First class dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner located in on the lower level of each rail car. Full bar service is available from your seat. Alaskan artwork is also featured throughout the cars.
Onboard Guides provide insightful commentary throughout the train trip allowing guests to become fully immersed in the history and landscape of the passing miles.
