About your tour leader and guides
You will be accompanied by an English-speaking tour leader whose aim is to take the hassle out of your travels and help you get the most from your trip.
Your leader will provide information on the places you visit, offer suggestions, recommend places to eat, and introduce you to local contacts.
For some inclusions, you will also be accompanied by local guides with specialised knowledge of specific sites or locations.
Important practical information
Summer temperatures in this region can exceed 40°C / 104°F. Use sun protection, wear layers, and drink plenty of water. Many hotels in Europe have fans rather than air conditioning.
European hotel rooms are often small and space is at a premium.
For two people sharing, many hotels have two single beds that can be pushed together rather than fixed double beds.
Booking and payment conditions (summary)

Hotels listed are indicative only; if a quoted hotel is unavailable, an alternative of similar standard will be confirmed.
Complimentary group transfers (if added) only apply to accommodation booked through Intrepid and require flight details at least 30 days before departure.
Final balance payment is required 70 days prior to travel.
Cancellation by traveller:
More than 70 days before travel: deposit amount held as a credit.
69 days or fewer before travel: 100% cancellation fees.
No-shows: treated as cancellation with 100% fees.
A contract exists when Intrepid accepts your deposit.
Changes to group size or itinerary may require requoting and can incur additional charges.
