Full Itinerary

  • ✅ Trip Requirements to Read BEFORE Signing Up

Before you pack your bags for Costa Rica, here’s what you need to know:

    Fitness Level

    • Light walking and hiking suitable for most fitness levels. Nothing too challenging.
    • Please be aware that properties we stay in with only two stories may not have elevators installed and climbing the stairs with your luggage will be necessary.

    Eligibility

Women and Men 18+ years old.

    Group Size

The group size is intentionally small, with a maximum of 16 travelers for a connected experience.

    Travel Documents

It is your own responsibility to have the correct travel documentation. Visa requirements for your trip will vary depending on where you are from and where you are going. We keep the following information up to date as far as possible, but rules do change and sometimes without warning. While we provide the following information in good faith, it is vital that you check the information yourself and understand that you are fully responsible for your own visa requirements.

    • A valid passport (must be good for at least 6 months after arrival). Some countries require a full blank “VISA” page in the passport for stamping purposes.es a passport valid for six months beyond the travel dates.
    • Don’t have a passport yet? No problem! You can still commit to the trip. Passports are not required until November 15, 2026, giving you plenty of time to apply or renew.

    Health & Safety
No vaccines required, but always consult your doctor about your personal travel health needs.

    Rooming

You must ensure your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely payments, or you will be charged a solo occupancy rate, which comes at a much higher rate. Additionally, solo rooms can be requested, however, they are very limited for this trip. The supplemental cost for this is an additional $619.

If you need a roommate, let me know! I will try to match you with someone, if available. Only same sex roommates will be assigned unless you are a couple traveling together.

    Deposit

A non-refundable $500 deposit must be paid to secure your spot. This will be sent via invoice after you have submitted your request to join the trip. If you delay in paying your deposit, you may lose your opportunity to join us as spots are secured on a first come, first serve basis.

    Payment Plan
Upon reservation, a tailored payment schedule can be set up so payments are evenly distributed. I'll set it up and send reminders for you to authorize payments on your chosen scheduled days as well a starting invoice. Alternatively, there are pay over time options we can explore as well.

    Travel Insurance
Missing a vacation is bad enough, losing your investment is even worse. Due to all deposits being non-refundable and life happens when you least expect it, travel protection is required to help provide coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, baggage loss or delay, medical expenses and more. The premium is related to your total trip cost and a quote will be provided to you.

You do have the option to source your own travel insurance but you must show proof. You will not be permitted to join the group until evidence of travel insurance has been sighted by your travel lead, who will take note of your insurance details. When selecting a travel insurance policy please bear in mind that you must have medical coverage and that it has a minimum coverage of USD 200,000 for repatriation and emergency rescue. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. If you have credit card insurance we require proof of purchase of the trip (a receipt of credit card statement) with a credit card in your name. Contact your bank for details of their participating insurer, the level of coverage and emergency contact telephone number.

    Behavior & Drug Policy

Illegal drugs will not be tolerated on any trips. Possessing or using drugs not only contravenes the laws of the land but also puts the rest of the group at risk. Smoking marijuana and opium is a part of local culture in some parts of the world but is not acceptable for our travelers. Our philosophy of travel is one of respect towards everyone we encounter, and in particular the local people who make the world the special place it is. The exploitation of prostitutes is completely contrary to this philosophy. Travel leads have the right to expel any member of the group if drugs are found in their possession or if they use prostitutes.
