Continue your 7 night Rhine Getaway adventure by boarding a train from Basel, Switzerland to Lucerne, Switzerland. Lucerne is a lovely small city where you will see Mt. Pilatus, Rigi and/or Titlus while you're there. The scenery is jaw dropping and in September, you will experience autumn in the Swiss Alps.

Post Cruise land extension to Lucerne, Switzerland
Do not miss beautiful Switzerland! You'll debark your Viking ship in Basel, Switzerland. From there, make your way to the train station and board a first class train to Lucerne, Switzerland. Lucerne is a gorgeous Swiss city that is central to beautiful mountain pinnacles. You'll see Mt. Pilatus, Mt. Rigi and/or Mt. Titlus, arriving by lake cruise and gondala. You'll also have time to explore the lovely town of Lucerne and it's iconic bridge. Afterwards, you'll catch a first class train to Zurich to board your return flight home.
