Rhythms In Motion at Sea!

Jun 29 - Jul 3, 2027

Get Ready to Dance, Cruise, and Shine! 🌊💃

Grab your dancing shoes, your favorite people, and your best cruise vibes — because Rhythms in Motion is setting sail June 29–July 3, 2027 aboard Independence of the Seas with Royal Caribbean International!

This isn’t just a dance trip. It’s a high vibe energy, laughter-filled, memory-making experience you won’t want to miss — whether you’re a lifelong dancer or someone who just loves great people, great music, and great adventures.

Hosted by Ellen of Magic Family Getaways (your detail-oriented travel pro who makes everything seamless) and Kristie of Rhythms in Motion (bringing the fun, confidence, and joy to the dance floor), this cruise is designed to be unforgettable from the moment we set sail.

No matter who you are — this trip is for YOU:

🎶 Never line danced before? Perfect! We’ll have easy, fun, no-pressure group lessons. You’ll be groovin’ and movin’ before you even realize it.

💃 Experienced dancer? Get ready to shine under the ship lights, connect with fellow dancers, and enjoy dancing together throughout the cruise.

😎 Not into dancing? That’s absolutely okay! The vibe, the community, the ocean views, the entertainment, the food, the laughter — this cruise is just as magical while taking it all in. You’ll enjoy the energy, make incredible memories, and be part of something truly special.

This is more than a cruise.
It’s community.
It’s connection.
It’s stepping outside your comfort zone (or owning the dance floor).
It’s sunsets, music, movement, and memories that will last long after we dock.

So, whether you’re stepping, stomping, singing along, or simply soaking in the fun and cheering on the energy — this is one adventure you do not want to miss.

🎉 Come join the party at sea!

✨ Important to know: This is not a ship-wide line dancing cruise. We are sailing as our own Rhythms in Motion at Sea group aboard a regular Royal Caribbean sailing. We’ll have a few private group classes just for us, and we’ll gather to dance together throughout the ship while enjoying the regularly scheduled entertainment and all the amazing amenities the cruise has to offer.

  • What's Included in your Cruise Fare & Group Program

This isn’t just a cruise — it’s a full‑on LINE DANCING COMMUNITY experience at sea, with room for freestyle and other fun dance styles, packed with perks and surprises for our group!

    • A cruise cabin for two* – your cozy home base between all the dancing, laughing, and exploring.
    • All port fees and taxes & pre‑paid gratuities** – already wrapped into your rate, so no surprise basics later.
    • Fun merch and goodies – you’ll receive a special gift bag just for our group on board (T‑shirt, swag, and other surprises curated by Kristie). This group swag is funded by a separate per‑stateroom program fee described below.
    • Line dance lessons – two light‑hearted 45‑minute sessions with Kristie designed mainly for beginners and intermediate dancers; confident dancers are welcome to join, freestyle, or even enjoy a little ballroom on the side when the music fits.
    • Mix & mingle meet‑ups – designated spots to gather for cocktails, conversations, and new friendships.
    • Dance‑floor spotlight time – chances to show off your moves during the ship’s evening entertainment.
    • Fun group activities – we’re planning playful contests and challenges to keep the excitement going.
    • Set group dining time in the main dining room – we’ll have a reserved seating time so our dancing crew can eat together, reconnect, and swap stories from the day. Guests who prefer My Time Dining are absolutely welcome to choose their own flexible dining schedule instead; My Time Dining reservations can be made once onboard and are subject to availability.

This is not a full‑day dance intensive — think relaxed vacation with a couple of fun, low‑pressure line dance sessions and plenty of time to eat, explore, and enjoy the ship.

This trip is perfect for singles, couples, families, and friends — whether you’re here to dance every chance you get or just pop in when it sounds fun.

While line dancing is our main focus, freestyle dancers, ballroom friends, kids, and “I‑just‑like‑to‑wiggle” people are all welcome — there will be space to do your own thing alongside the group.

    • Plus, you’ll enjoy all the standard Royal Caribbean inclusions, like:
      • Complimentary dining in the main dining room, buffet, and select casual venues for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
      • Included shows and entertainment, such as theater productions, live music, comedy, trivia, and daily activities throughout the ship.

*If you need a different type of stateroom or have more (or fewer) guests, I can create a custom quote just for you.
**You may opt out of pre‑paid gratuities if you choose, but Royal Caribbean will add standard gratuities to your stateroom invoice at the end of the cruise if they are not prepaid.

  • A few other things

    Still to come!

    • Need a hotel the night before? If you’d like to arrive early and sleep close to the port, I can help you book pre‑cruise overnight accommodations on an individual basis so you can start your vacation relaxed instead of rushed.
    • Coming from the same area as other dancers? If we have enough people traveling from a similar location, we can look at organizing group transportation to Cape Liberty so you can ride together, split the cost, and start the fun before you even see the ship.
    • We are still working with our shoreside representative for exact dates, times, and locations of our group activities. We'll provide confirmed details as soon as available, so you can schedule personal ship experiences (like spa appointments) accordingly.

    Other Important Notes

    • All guests are responsible for having valid, up‑to‑date passports and required travel documents for this itinerary; expired or soon‑to‑expire documents may result in denied boarding with no refund.
    • Please note: This group cruise will sail as planned even in the unlikely event that our primary dance host is unable to travel due to an emergency. The fun doesn’t stop – we’ll adjust on board and find other ways to gather, connect, and dance it out together.
  • Here are your preset room choices!

If you have more or fewer than 2 passengers in your stateroom, or if you would like a different stateroom type (such as a Suite or Spacious Ocean View), please indicate this on the sign up form and I will create a custom quote for you.
