Welcome to the St. Michaels Reading Retreat

A charming waterfront town, a boutique hotel, and a few days to slow down with a good book. Our St. Michaels Reading Retreat is taking us to Maryland’s Eastern Shore April 22–25, 2027.

Here’s a snapshot of our weekend:

Thursday: Arrive, settle in, and meet your fellow readers over our book exchange at surprise location, then we will enjoy our welcome dinner at Ruse, the hotel’s restaurant.

Friday: We’ll get creative with a custom apparel making at The Bench Goods, followed by free time to explore town or relax at the hotel. That afternoon, we’ll gather for a private book tasting at Book Hounds before heading to Ava’s Pizzeria for a private dinner.

Saturday: Start the day at your own pace. Borrow a bike, browse the local shops, or find a comfortable spot to read. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a private boat ride along the Miles River with a special author guest, followed by our farewell dinner at Bistro St. Michaels.

Sunday: Enjoy breakfast before heading home, hopefully with new friendships and a few more books on your reading list.

This is just a snapshot of the weekend. There will be additional experiences and special moments included that I’m keeping as surprises. Planning those little details is one of my favorite parts of creating each retreat!
