  • About the Ship & Cruise Experience

The Majestic Princess offers a relaxed and well-balanced cruise experience, combining comfortable accommodations, quality dining, and a wide range of onboard activities without feeling overly crowded or overwhelming.

Princess Cruises is known for a more classic, refined atmosphere compared to some of the more high-energy cruise lines. Guests can expect a mix of live entertainment, enrichment activities, and scenic cruising, along with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the journey between destinations.

Dining includes a variety of options, from traditional dining rooms and casual buffet selections to specialty restaurants available for an additional fee. Service is attentive, and the overall experience is designed to be easy and enjoyable.

This sailing is especially well-suited for travelers who are interested in the destinations as much as the onboard experience.

  • What to Expect on a European Cruise

European cruises differ from Caribbean-style sailings in a few key ways:

    • Port-focused itinerary: Most days are spent exploring destinations
    • Early mornings & full days: Expect active sightseeing days
    • Less resort-style, more exploration: Focus is on destinations over onboard downtime
    • Variety of ports: Includes both major cities and smaller ports, some requiring tender access
    • Steady pace: This is an active itinerary with a lot to see

  • Princess Plus & Princess Premier FAQs

What are Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages?

Princess Plus and Princess Premier are optional upgrade packages that bundle together popular onboard amenities like drinks, Wi-Fi, and additional perks into a daily per-person rate.

    • Princess Plus: Approximately $65 per person, per day (pre-cruise)
    • Princess Premier: Approximately $100 per person, per day (pre-cruise)

Pricing typically increases by about $5 per person, per day if purchased onboard.

What’s the difference between Princess Plus and Princess Premier?

    • Plus Package:
Includes beverages up to $15 per drink, Wi-Fi for one device per guest, and a daily limit of XX alcoholic beverages (non-alcoholic drinks like coffee, soda, and water are not counted toward that limit)
    • Premier Package:
Includes beverages up to $20 per drink, Wi-Fi for up to XX devices per guest, and no set daily drink limit, along with additional upgraded perks

Both packages also include non-alcoholic drinks such as soda, specialty coffee, tea, bottled water, and more.

    Are these packages required?

    No. These packages are optional.

However, they are often a strong value for guests who plan to use Wi-Fi, enjoy beverages, or want a more all-inclusive onboard experience.

Do all guests in a cabin need to purchase the same package?

    • Packages are automatically added for Guests 1 & 2
    • Guests 3 & 4 are not required to purchase the same package

If Guests 3 or 4 choose to add a package, they must select the same package type (Plus or Premier), but they can also choose a different option or no package at all.

What if someone doesn’t drink alcohol?

Both packages still provide value even without alcohol, as they include:

    • Specialty coffees and teas
    • Soda and bottled water
    • Mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages
    • Wi-Fi and additional onboard perks

Guests under the legal drinking age will automatically receive the Zero-Alcohol Package.

Are there other drink package options?

Yes, two additional non-alcohol-focused packages are available:

    • Classic Soda Package: Includes fountain soda, juices, mocktails, and smoothies
    • Zero-Alcohol Package: Includes specialty coffee, tea, soda, bottled water, energy drinks, and mocktails

These can be selected after booking through the Princess portal.

Can drinks or package benefits be shared between guests?

Some Premier package benefits (like Wi-Fi and photo packages) may be shared across the cabin.

    However:

    • Beverage packages are tied to the individual guest
    • Dining benefits cannot be shared

Can I upgrade my package later?

    Yes. You can:

    • Upgrade from Standard → Plus or Premier
    • Upgrade from Plus → Premier

This can be done before sailing or onboard (pricing may be higher onboard).
