Overview

Exclusive Last-Minute Booking Opportunity

Come Experience the Best of the Danube

Unpack once and discover Europe from the river aboard AmaReina, sailing roundtrip from Budapest through some of the Danube’s most celebrated cities and scenic stretches.

With AmaWaterways, the focus is on thoughtfully designed itineraries and a more measured pace of travel. Best of the Danube reflects that approach beautifully, offering a well-rounded journey through some of Europe’s most culturally significant cities, along with charming riverside towns and scenic stretches often missed when traveling independently.

This sailing begins and ends in Budapest, with time in Vienna, Bratislava, and other storybook destinations along the Danube. It is an itinerary that balances iconic highlights with quieter moments, without trying to do too much.

You’ll travel aboard the AmaReina, an intimate river ship designed for a relaxed onboard experience. Many staterooms feature AmaWaterways’ signature twin-balcony design, while lounges and public spaces are oriented toward the river, allowing the scenery to remain part of the experience throughout the journey.

A limited number of staterooms remain available with special group pricing and additional booking incentives, outlined below.
