On this once-in-a-lifetime excursion, experience the thrill of mushing with a professional sled team of Alaskan sled dogs across the snow-capped Juneau Icefield. Learn the tricks of the trade and master the important commands of “Hike!”, “Gee!”, and “Haw!” as you zip across the snowy terrain.

Meeting Notes
We will pick up guests from the Goldbelt Tram at their scheduled departure time.
We recommend guests that are arriving to Juneau by cruise ship to be picked up/dropped off at the Goldbelt/Mt. Roberts Tram as it is a convenient location for cruise ship guests. If you have guests that are staying at a hotel we are able to accommodate a different pick-up/drop-off location, we just need to be notified so the reservation reflects that information and our drivers know where to go.

Recommendations
- Dress for a 10-15°F temperature decrease from sea level (at the cruise ship docks) to the glacier. We recommend wearing long socks, gloves, and warm layers
- You should wear sturdy shoes. You will be outfitted with glacier boots that will cover your footwear provide waterproof protection and make it easier to walk on the snow and ice
- Be sure to bring your sunglasses, camera, and a thirst for adventure
- Bring your own reusable water bottle and receive 10% o any item in our gift shop.
Restrictions
- This trip requires extended physical activity. Participants should be in good physical condition.
- Due to safety protocol, we do not allow selfie sticks, iPads, or drones on this tour.
- Backpacks and purses cannot be accommodated on this tour. We offer secure storage options so you can pick up items upon your return.
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
