Perfect Day at CocoCay is Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, and it lives up to its name. The water here is that specific shade of turquoise you see in photos and assume is exaggerated — it isn't. The ship arrives early, and you'll want to be off quickly to stake out your spot.
For families, this is one of the best days of the whole cruise. The kids can ride the slides at Thrill Waterpark, float the lazy river, or spend hours in the calm lagoon shallows. For a quieter experience, Chill Island delivers exactly what it sounds like — soft sand, lounge chairs, and a frozen drink. If you want to upgrade, the Oasis Lagoon is the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean and worth every minute.
Snorkeling just off the beach is excellent — bring your own gear or rent it onboard before you disembark. The island is private, so there are no crowds beyond your fellow passengers, and the food village keeps everyone fueled throughout the day. Plan to stay until the last tender back.
