Once you reach Icefall Lodge, you will be greeted with appetizers by the lodge chef and can enjoy a cold one on the deck. Some like to test their limits by taking a cold dunk in the glacial waterfall while others prefer to wind down in the sauna. A delicious dinner will be served and you will enjoy a good rest in the double occupancy private bedrooms.
Icefall Lodge is situated at treeline with living room views of one of the most spectacular, rugged sections of the Canadian Rockies. It consists of two separate lodges and a sauna building. The new lodge is a bright, roomy, three story building with log posts and much of the lumber milled on site. The original building provides additional bedrooms and a separate living room.
In the summer, you start at treeline and walk out the door to alpine meadows. There is a network of over 100km of trail, mostly at or just above treeline, to explore the area.
