As you prepare for your upcoming trip, we want to ensure you have peace of mind. Travel insurance will be offered at the time of booking, providing essential protection for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical Expenses, Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, and Baggage Delay.
The cost for this coverage is 12.25% of the reservation total per person, and please note that coverage varies by state, so we will need the residential address of each client wishing to add this option. You can purchase this insurance up until the time of Final Payment. Additionally, preexisting conditions will be covered if the insurance is added by the final payment date.
For those interested in extra protection, we offer the Travel Waiver Plus 31 (CFAR waiver) for $80 per person, which can be purchased alongside Allianz insurance at the time of deposit. This waiver allows clients with denied claims to receive their penalty amounts (excluding travel protection premiums) as Future Cruise Credit for other sailings with AmaWaterways, provided cancellations are made at least 31 days prior to the trip start.
