After our city center adventure, head to the Anthropology Museum, the most visited and highly important in Mexico as it contains the world’s largest collection of ancient Mexican Art. At this place, your guide will take you through some of the highlights of the museum such as the Sun Stone or Aztec Calendar, the Recreation of Pakal's tomb in the Mayan exhibit room and the Jade Mask of the Zapotec Bat God in the Oaxaca exhibit room. Several wings have archeological scenes recreated as murals like in the Teotihuacan exhibit and the Oaxacan and Mayan tomb rooms. It gives context to where the pieces where found.
