Royal Caribbean Travel Insurance (Included)
Travel Protection through Royal Caribbean is included for your convenience and peace of mind. It is strongly encouraged for all travelers to help protect your investment and provide peace of mind. If you prefer to use your own travel insurance policy, simply provide a copy of your coverage and we will remove the travel protection charge.
Benefits include:

Please note that Royal Caribbean insurance policy only covers travel arrangements purchased through Royal Caribbean under their umbrella, such as the cruise, flights, hotels, and transfers booked directly through them. If you purchase any portion of your trip independently outside of Royal Caribbean, you may want to consider carrying two separate policies to ensure all travel arrangements are properly covered.
Third Party Travel Insurance
We can also provide a third party travel insurance option that covers any pre/post cruise hotel stay, flights, transfers, etc outside the cruise and provides Cancel Anytime options.
Travel protection pricing is based on the travelers’ ages and total trip cost. We offer coverage through Allianz, Arch RoamRight, Faye Insurance, and Chubb, all of which provide protection from the moment you leave home until you return.

We recommend purchasing a travel protection policy within 14 days of placing your deposit to receive the best coverage and options, including coverage for pre-existing medical conditions and eligibility for Cancel Anytime plans.
Regarding purchase deadlines:
- Royal Caribbean insurance can be purchased up until the final payment date; however, to receive coverage for pre-existing medical conditions, the policy must be purchased within 14 days of placing your deposit.
- Allianz policies can be purchased up until the day before departure, but coverage for pre-existing medical conditions is only available if the policy is purchased before the final payment date.
If you are interested in a “Cancel Anytime” option, please note that it must be purchased within 14 calendar days of placing your deposit.
After purchasing any travel protection policy, you normally have 10-15 calendar days (number of days depend on the insurance company) to review the policy and cancel it for a refund, provided your trip has not started and no claims have been filed.
