Cruise ships dock at the Old Sitka Dock, about 5 miles from downtown. Shuttle services and taxis are available to take you into town. Once there, Sitka is easily walkable, with most attractions within a short distance. A complimentary shuttle bus runs from Sitka Sound Cruise Terminal to downtown Sitka every 10-15 minutes. The journey takes about twelve minutes and stops at Harrigan Centennial Hall. The final shuttle returning to the cruise terminal leaves thirty minutes before all passengers must be on board. Certain ships use water tenders from anchorages near Crescent Harbor in Sitka Sound.
