Since it is 2026, you’ll likely be arriving on one of the newer "Icon" or "Oasis" class ships. Here is how to navigate the island like a pro.

• SeaPass Card: This is your only currency. Use it for drinks, equipment rentals, and paid attractions. The only exception is the Straw Market (local crafts), which takes cash (USD).
• Towels: Grab your towels from the ship's pool deck before you get off. You can exchange wet ones for dry ones at "Towel Stations" on the island, but you must return them to the ship to avoid a fee.
• WiFi & Drinks: If you have a VOOM internet package or a Beverage Package on the ship, they both work on the island. * The Tram: If you don't want to walk the long pier or across the island, free trams run every 15 minutes to all major "neighborhoods."

• Oasis Lagoon: The largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean. It features a massive swim-up bar, underwater speakers, and a DJ. It’s the "party" hub.
• Chill Island: Best for a classic beach day. The water is crystal clear, and it’s the best spot for snorkeling (you can bring your own gear to save money).
• South Beach: Located further out, this area has a more "active" vibe with volleyball, basketball, and a floating bar just offshore.
• Splashaway Bay & Captain Jill’s Galleon: Massive water play areas for kids with slides and cannons.

• Thrill Waterpark: Home to Daredevil’s Peak (the tallest slide in North America) and the Caribbean's largest wave pool. Tip: If you want to do this, book it months in advance; prices often double as the cruise date nears.
• Hideaway Beach: The adults-only (18+) paradise. It has its own infinity pool, DJ, and private beach.
• Coco Beach Club: The ultimate luxury. Think infinity pools and the first overwater cabanas in the Bahamas. Includes an elevated Mediterranean-style lunch.

Food on the island is mostly complimentary and surprisingly good.

• Chill Grill & Skipper’s Grill: Large buffet-style spots. Look for the taco bar and the Caribbean jerk chicken.
• Snack Shacks: These are scattered around the island and are often better than the buffets.

3. Check the Ship App: You can see the daily schedule, including when the "Junkanoo" band performs at the Arrivals Plaza.
4. Avoid the Afternoon Rush: Most people head back to the ship around 2:00 PM. If you stay until the "All Aboard" time, you’ll have the Oasis Lagoon almost to yourself for the final hour.
