Seating: Main Cabin and above (premium/business/first) includes seating on US airlines. If you are flying on a non-US airline, you may still have to pay to choose your seating and many times not until a few days before travel. It is your responsibility as a consumer to choose your seating or upgrade. Any upgrades or seat selections, even if paid, are not guaranteed by any airline and subject to change. If you choose to upgrade after your initial air purchase, you must do it directly with your airline. Airline Seat Maps/Find the Best Seat https://www.seatguru.com/
Bags: If you are flying from the US to Mexico or the Caribbean/Central America or within the US/Canada, your bags are usually not included with your Main Cabin seating (premium/business/first class usually include at least 1 checked-bag per passenger) and you cannot add luggage cost until you check-in online or at the airport immediately before travel, on your departure and return. Some credit cards have perks that include bags on certain airlines, please investigate if you have an eligible card. If you are flying to Europe or beyond, your first checked bag is typically included for each passenger. All bag prices and rules are subject to the terms of each airline you choose.
*Some airline credit cards may have seating/bag or other benefits*
Prepare Your Flights Now - Using your flight locator number (PNR) or airline reservation number, please load your trip onto your airline app and sign up for email/text notifications. All paper and e-tickets will be given to you by the app or at the airport ticket counter/kiosk for your airline.
Frequent Flyer Numbers - If you do not have a loyalty number, it is best practice to sign up for one for each passenger in your travel party. Do this for each airline you may use during travel. These numbers track your history and can be helpful if you have any issues pre/during/post-travel and need to speak with the airline. The name you use for your airline frequent flyer program must match your passport exactly. Many airlines now require this number/membership to use their entertainment or wifi. * Please know that almost all airlines COMBINE your first and middle names, and any suffix such as Jr, III. This is normal, you do NOT need to contact your airline to make corrections *
TSA Pre-Check (KTN) or Global Entry Numbers - Once you have paid for your membership and completed security interviews, these numbers must be entered into your personal profile with your airline that departs the US. Please make sure your airline flyer profile is use to date if you have a KTN. If you do not see your KTN with your online ticket, please visit the airline check in desk on your day of travel. Only valid with US airports for departure and your entry to the US on return. Subject to airport and airline participation, not always available. Airline Check-In*24-hours before your flight begins (outbound/return), you must check-in online/app with your airline*This must be done by the travel party, not by Traveling Person. It is possible that you are unable to check-in online and must check-in at the airport in-person. This is random and can happen at anytime, to any passenger. Do not panic, just arrive a little early to the airport to complete your check-in.
