Details
The Visitax is a mandatory tax that can be paid prior to arrival in Mexico or during your stay. IT IS NOT ALREADY INCLUDED IN YOUR AIRFARE FEES.
You may or may not get asked to show proof of payment (the QR code that shows after you pay on the website) on departure at the airport. It will show pricing in MXN and will be processed in MXN. The USD amount will change daily based on exchange rates, but it is usually between $16 and $22 USD per person.
