What to Expect
We begin with a short bus ride to the Ulriken Gondola and ride to 600 meters above sea level. From there, we explore stunning mountain trails with breathtaking views over Bergen and the fjord landscape.
Your guide will lead you off the main tourist path and onto quieter local trails that showcase the true beauty of Mt. Ulriken. On a clear day, you’ll see all the way to the sea, the islands beyond Bergen, and deep into the surrounding mountains.
Even as locals, we’re amazed every time—it feels like hiking in Hardangervidda National Park, with the bonus of a city view below.
After the hike, you can walk down or take the gondola again. If you have time, enjoy a meal or drink at Skyskraperen Restaurant (booking ahead is recommended).
