Today we go big. We venture into the western reaches of Vatnajökull National Park, exploring the dramatic Eldgjá chasm and hiking near the striking Ófærufoss waterfall. Every turn of this trail offers jaw-dropping vistas—massive rock formations, rivers snaking through valleys, and Iceland’s signature rugged beauty stretching as far as the eye can see.
Next up: a hike up Brennisteinsalda, one of Iceland’s most colorful volcanoes. Its geothermal energy, steaming vents, and surreal landscape will make you feel like you’re walking on another planet. And the reward? A dip in natural hot pools—soak, relax, and let Iceland work its magic on your muscles (and your soul).
After a full day of hiking, awe, and connection with your fellow travelers, we’ll transfer back to Reykjavik for our final night. Tonight, we’ll embark on a guided Northern Lights tour (weather permitting)—an unforgettable way to cap off the adventure.
Tip: Don’t forget your camera and a sense of wonder—today’s scenery is cinematic, bold, and unforgettable.
