Tucked away at the end of the road on Costa Rica's secluded southwest coast, Tiskita Jungle Lodge is one of the country's best-kept secrets — a true ecolodge set within an 800-acre private biological reserve. Tiskita Jungle Lodge
Home to over 300 bird species and a rainforest teeming with wildlife, Tiskita is also home to one of the world's largest tropical fruit orchards, with over 125 varieties ranging from familiar favorites like mango and papaya to more exotic finds like jackfruit and mangosteen.
Nine cabins are scattered throughout the property, each fringed by jungle with ocean views, just minutes from the rainforest and the beach. Built from precious local woods like rosewood, mahogany, and purpleheart, all sourced from trees that naturally fell on the property, the cabins feature screened windows for the ocean breeze, hot showers, and hammock-lined porches perfect for watching Pacific sunsets.
Meals are served family style, featuring authentic, healthy Costa Rican cuisine made with fresh local ingredients. Vegetarian and special dietary needs are easily accommodated, and fresh-brewed Costa Rican coffee, local juices, and snacks are available throughout the day.

Titi is one of the best rooms on the property, full stop. Setup for a triple, but being sold as a double, it features three single beds, two full bathrooms, a large porch with one of the most spectacular ocean views at Tiskita plus it sits right beside the yoga shala! The Howler Monkey casitas sit side by side as a connected trio (Lindsay will be in one of them!), but each room lives its own life — private entrance, own porch, own hammock, own solar-heated outdoor bathroom. All three catch partial ocean views through the trees and have the kind of deeply immersive rainforest feeling that makes you understand why people come back to Tiskita year after year.
These rooms are genuinely lovely as singles. Lounge on your private porch reading a book, journalling about the day, or drinking a cup of tea while a troupe of monkeys passes through the canopy thirty feet away. If you are attending the retreat solo, this is where you will find your rhythm. If you're interested in sharing with a friend, let us know at katie@vast365.com.

Wake up to the Pacific. These two standalone bungalows are Tiskita's most private rooms — each one a self-contained world of rainforest, birdsong, and ocean horizon. Your private terrace becomes a morning ritual space: coffee in hand, howler monkeys in the canopy, the shimmer of the ocean somewhere below the treeline.
Inside, a king bed dressed with organic linens and an orthopedic mattress ensures you sleep as deeply as the jungle around you. The open-air bathroom — a Tiskita signature — lets you shower under the sky with solar-heated water and organic products, the kind of experience that sounds unusual until you try it, and then becomes the thing you miss most when you leave.
Agouti 7 sits at the heart of the property, steps from the main lodge, with a beautiful ocean view and a big, airy bathroom. Completely flat access — no steps — makes it the most accessible room on the property and one of the most beloved.
