At 175 square feet, Avalon’s Deluxe Staterooms are more spacious than the river cruise average (typically 150 square feet or less). Though compact in footprint, they’re big on thoughtful design, smart storage, and inviting comfort. Each stateroom features Avalon’s signature touches and plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. Ideal for cruisers who prefer cozy, well-appointed spaces without sacrificing comfort, Deluxe Staterooms deliver surprising style and functionality in every detail.
Note: This type of stateroom does NOT have the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, opening window.

Panorama Suite- Deck 2 (Middle Deck)= $5106 per person with double occupancy ($10212 for the cabin with 2 people)

At 200 square feet – an average of 30% larger than the industry standard – Panorama Suites make up 80% of our staterooms across two full decks. These boutique-hotel-inspired spaces feature wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows that open seven feet wide, creating Avalon’s signature Open-Air Balcony. Every Comfort CollectionSM bed faces the ever-changing scenery, so your first sight each morning is a castle vineyard, or spire – not a wall. It’s the perfect fusion of indoor elegance and outdoor wonder, designed to immerse you in every destination.
The Panorama Suite is a premium room category on Avalon’s Suite Ships, designed to maximize views, comfort, and that “being part of the scenery” feeling.
Here are the main trade-offs / upgrades compared to the Deluxe Stateroom:
Feature | Panorama Suite Advantage |
View / Natural Light | Much larger span of windows, floor-to-ceiling & wall-to-wall; windows open to give fresh air. Deluxe has fixed/non-opening windows, smaller, usually near ceiling. |
Sense of Space | Because the window wall replaces “solid wall + small windows,” and the suite is larger, the room feels more open and connected to the river. |
Bed-Facing View | Wake up facing the scenery — no turning over to see out the windows. |
Sitting / Relaxing | More space near the windows; better seating area for enjoying views, relaxing. |
Premium feel | More “suite-like” ambiance, more luxury feel. |
Panorama Suite- Deck 3 (Top Deck)=5156 per person with double occupancy ($10312 for the cabin with 2 people)
