  At 175 square feet, Avalon’s Deluxe Staterooms are more spacious than the river cruise average (typically 150 square feet or less). Though compact in footprint, they’re big on thoughtful design, smart storage, and inviting comfort. Each stateroom features Avalon’s signature touches and plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. Ideal for cruisers who prefer cozy, well-appointed spaces without sacrificing comfort, Deluxe Staterooms deliver surprising style and functionality in every detail.

  Note: This type of stateroom does NOT have the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, opening window.

  • The Deluxe Staterooms aboard Avalon Suite Ships typically are about 172 square feet (≈ 16 m²).
  • They are situated on the bottom deck below the waterline, and do not have a full balcony or full-panoramic window. Instead, they use two high, non-opening windows to let in light and river views.

  The Panorama Suite is a premium room category on Avalon’s Suite Ships, designed to maximize views, comfort, and that “being part of the scenery” feeling.
