You’ll visit a worldwide acclaimed winery and enjoy a guided tour by the host around the vineyards and the bodega. You’ll also get to taste their finest wines, of course!
More than 20 years of dedication and effort in crafting wines with the Ronda designation of origin, based in one of the city’s most historically significant landmarks — the Convento del Tajo, the former home of the Discalced Trinitarians, from whom this winery takes its name. The place has more than 5 centuries of history.
This place has undergone a complete restoration process to transform it into the heart of our work, reviving the main building and its gardens, which lie next to the vast vineyards planted at its feet, endowing the site with unparalleled beauty.
The Descalzos Viejos estate covers an area of 16 hectares and is located in a setting of incomparable beauty on the Cornisa del Tajo in Ronda, surrounded by three natural parks. At the highest point of the estate lies the winery, housed in a 16th-century Trinitarian convent.
Behind the building, a beautiful terraced garden unfolds, featuring fruit trees and a natural spring. The vineyard stretches across the lower part of the estate, nestled among ancient olive trees and holm oaks.
After the visit and wine tasting you will enjoy a nice lunch at the cellar.
