David Rose Journeys | Iceland 2027

Discover the extraordinary landscapes of Iceland on a thoughtfully curated journey through a land shaped by fire, ice, and the forces of nature.

Beginning in Reykjavík, travel into western Iceland, where rugged countryside and geothermal waters offer a first glimpse into the island's remarkable character. Continue to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, where volcanic peaks, dramatic coastlines, and sweeping beaches converge beneath the towering presence of Snæfellsjökull glacier.

Explore Iceland's geological wonders along the Golden Circle, from the tectonic landscapes of Þingvellir National Park to the erupting geysers of the Haukadalur geothermal valley and the immense cascades of Gullfoss. Visit Friðheimar, where geothermal energy makes greenhouse cultivation possible in Iceland's distinctive climate, revealing the ingenuity with which the island's people have learned to live alongside the forces beneath their feet.

Cross the Atlantic to the Westman Islands, where volcanic landscapes and dramatic coastal cliffs tell a story of resilience and renewal. Continue along the southern coast, standing before the spectacular waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss before returning to Reykjavík, where Icelandic heritage and contemporary Nordic life converge along the harbor and city streets.

Throughout the journey, geology, culture, and the natural world come together in an experience that invites you to look closer, embrace the extraordinary, and discover the remarkable relationship between Iceland's people and their environment.

With carefully selected accommodations, private group transportation, a dedicated tour conductor, and a thoughtfully curated route through Iceland's most distinctive regions, David Rose Journeys takes care of the details so you can focus on the landscapes, the discoveries, and the experience of exploring this remarkable island together.
