Want to explore the rich diversity of tropical birds in Costa Rica? This biology course will introduce you to the world of birds through observation and listening, while also learning about conservation in Costa Rica. Intertwined will be a critical look at the history, current state and fate of these birds. Through this program you will learn about the importance of birds to humans and other organisms, their role in human cultures and, increasingly, the pressure that birds face in the Anthropocene and the Pyrocene.
