Featured Journey 001 - Around the World

This is not simply a voyage around the world. It is the increasingly rare opportunity to give the world enough time.

Departing Los Angeles on January 14, 2028, this 124-night journey aboard Viking Vesta begins with a crossing of the Pacific, reaching Hawaiʻi before continuing through the islands of French Polynesia. From there, the voyage unfolds gradually through New Zealand and Australia, Indonesia and Southeast Asia, across the Indian Ocean to the Maldives, Seychelles and East Africa, around South Africa and Namibia, then north along the African coast before reaching Europe and concluding in London.

What makes this journey remarkable, however, isn't simply the number of places it visits.

It's the pace.

There are long stretches at sea, overnight stays in destinations including Tahiti, Sydney, Cairns, Bali, Singapore, Colombo, Mombasa, Zanzibar, Cape Town, Walvis Bay, Casablanca and Lisbon, and enough time for the journey itself to become part of the experience.
