Today, we dive deep into the soul of Outlander and Scottish history. After breakfast, we’ll visit the windswept fields of Culloden Battlefield, where the Jacobite rebellion met its tragic end. With a guided tour and immersive exhibits, you’ll walk the very ground where Claire and Jamie’s world was forever changed—and where real lives were lost in the name of freedom.
Next, we’ll visit Clava Cairns, the mysterious Bronze Age stone circle that inspired Craigh Na Dun. Stand among the ancient stones and feel the pull of the past—it’s a surreal, emotional stop that speaks to every time-traveling soul.
Afterward, we’ll head south toward Fort William, stopping for lunch along the way. The drive itself is a scenic feast: misty mountains, ancient lochs, and roads that twist like plot lines through the Highlands. We’ll arrive in Fort William by mid-afternoon and check into our next hotel, with the evening free to relax, explore the town, or journal all the feelings from this powerful day.
