Maui has a reputation — and it earns every bit of it. From the moment you step off the ship in Kahului, you're within reach of some of the most varied and visually stunning scenery in all of Hawaii. Two full days here means you don't have to choose between the volcano and the waterfall road. You can do both.
The Big Experiences
A Slower Side of Maui
Good to Know Maui's weather in this area is warm and generally sunny with light trade winds. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and a light layer for the Haleakala summit are all worth having. The Road to Hana is narrow and winding — if you're prone to motion sensitivity, the full drive may not be the right fit, but the first hour alone is worth doing.
With two days in port, there's no pressure to cram everything in. Pick what speaks to you and enjoy the pace.
