Details
Begin with a short transfer outside Hanoi to the Red River Delta, where you’ll start cycling along quiet rural roads through farmland and local villages en route to Bat Trang, a historic pottery village.
Explore the village and central market before visiting a local workshop to learn traditional pottery techniques. You’ll have the chance to create your own piece before enjoying lunch at a nearby local restaurant.
In the afternoon, transfer to a new starting point along the river and continue cycling through scenic countryside and residential areas. Arrive at But Thap Pagoda, a beautifully preserved 13th-century temple, for a guided visit. From here, you may continue cycling to Dong Ho Village or transfer by vehicle.
In Dong Ho, discover one of Vietnam’s most iconic folk-art traditions before returning to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
