This morning, depart Hue for a scenic journey south, stopping to explore the lush landscapes of Bach Ma National Park.
Located approximately 45 km from Hue, Bach Ma was established as a French hill station in the 1930s and sits high above the coastline, offering a mix of dense jungle, rich biodiversity, and sweeping views over lagoons and the sea. Its off-the-beaten-path setting makes for a more relaxed and uncrowded experience.
Begin at the park’s visitor center before setting out along forested trails to Do Quyen Waterfall, a striking 300-meter cascade set deep within the jungle. Continue on to Ngu Ho (Five Lakes), a series of clear natural pools where you can take a break and, conditions permitting, enjoy a swim.
Pause for a picnic lunch in the park before continuing to the summit to visit the remnants of the old hill station, where expansive views stretch across the surrounding mountains and coastline.
In the afternoon, continue by road to Hoi An, arriving in the early evening for check-in at your hotel.
