The Adults-Only Alaska Cruise, June 2027

Jun 24 - Jul 1, 2027

After another late night at the office, you’re dreaming of getting outside. You might be thinking about hiking. Or wildlife watching. Or just drinking that cocktail with the sun on your face. You turn off the light, and as you’re falling asleep, you think “next year.” Next year is June 24, 2027.

If you’re tired of dreaming about next year, Untethered Voyages has made the arrangements. We’ve held group space aboard Brilliant Lady - Virgin Voyages’ adults-only ship - so you can stop planning and just go.

We’ve handled every detail so you can be off the clock.

Why Alaska?

Before you go to Alaska, you can't imagine the scale of a glacier - how it fills your entire field of vision and makes you feel genuinely small in a way that's somehow wonderful. You don't know the thrill of watching a pod of humpbacks bubble feeding a hundred yards from your boat. No brochure can prepare you for how wild it actually is. You just have to go, and see it for yourself, and become one of the people who understands.

This is that trip.

Full Itinerary

  • Brilliant Lady by Virgin Voyages

Brilliant Lady is adults-only by design. That's not a small detail - it sets the entire tone. The ship is sophisticated without being stuffy, social without being chaotic, and genuinely built for people who want to feel restored, not just entertained.

And then there are experiences like Horizons & Headphones. As Brilliant Lady moves through Dawes Glacier, the Crow's Nest on Deck 17 is cordoned off just for this - lounge chairs, binoculars, unlimited coffee and mulled wine, and a pair of headphones playing nature sounds while a quiet voice occasionally asks you to notice something: the closest thing in your field of vision, how the light is hitting the ice, how you feel. It's meditative in the best possible way, and the views are the kind you'll be trying to describe for years. This is what "restored" actually looks like.

And the ship? Brilliant Lady has multiple restaurant concepts with no main dining room (every meal is reservable, included in your fare), a spa and athletic club, rooftop pool deck, and nightlife that actually delivers. Virgin Voyages includes all dining, group fitness classes, and basic WiFi - no nickel-and-diming.

  • Everything That Matters

You come to the end of the cruise, and your folio of charges is slipped under the door. You open it - and there's nothing on it you didn't expect. Your fare includes all onboard dining across every restaurant, all group fitness classes, and all port fees.

And because you're booking with Untethered Voyages, Classic WiFi for two, a $100 bar tab, early access to dining reservations, and $100 Sailor Loot per cabin are also included. We negotiated that before you got here.

  • The Untethered Voyages Difference

The Alaska Shortlist exists because you shouldn't have to spend twelve hours researching a vacation. We've already done it. Every sailing here has been personally vetted by us - we know the ship, we know the itinerary, and we've held the space so you don't have to start from scratch.

Here's what booking through us actually means:

We negotiated your perks before you got here.
The WiFi, the bar tab, the Sailor Loot, the early dining access - those aren't standard. They're the result of relationships we've built with Virgin Voyages on your behalf. You show up; the upgrades are already waiting.

We handle everything between "yes" and the pier.
Where to stay the night before in Seattle. Which ports are worth a shore excursion and which ones are perfect on foot. How to get to and from the ship. The hundred small decisions that turn a great trip into a stressful one? Those are ours now. You just have to pack.

We're your advocate if anything goes sideways.
Flight delayed? Plan changed? We solve it before you know there's a problem. We're proactive, we're reachable, and we treat your trip with the same attention you'd give your most important project.

And yes - our services are complimentary.
We're paid by the cruise lines, which means our entire incentive is making your experience extraordinary enough that you never book travel any other way.

  • Reserve Your Spot

For an Alaska sailing, we think a balcony is non-negotiable - and that's exactly what we've held for you. Watching glaciers calve and whales surface from your own private outdoor space is the whole point. We've reserved Sea Terrace and Central Sea Terrace cabins specifically for this group.

    Cabin Type

    Starting From

    Deposit

    Central Sea Terrace

    $1,716 pp

    $277.40 pp

    Sea Terrace

    $1,686 pp

    $271.40 pp

All fares are per person based on double occupancy. Port fees included.

The deposit is due at booking. Final balance is due February 24, 2027.

Pricing is confirmed through July 22 - after that, we can't guarantee these rates. If you're thinking about it, sooner is better.

Interested in a different cabin category? We can check availability outside the group block. Just ask.

  • Don't Take Our Word for It

The Untethered Voyages team went out of their way to help make this family trip unforgettable. They were very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Their suggestions and reminders were lifesaving. - Valerie A.

  • A Few Things People Always Ask

Do I need a passport? Yes. A valid passport is required for this sailing. This itinerary stops in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, which means you're crossing an international border. Make sure yours is valid through at least January 2028.

Are drinks included? Virgin Voyages includes non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is available for purchase, or you can add a drinks package. And because you're booking with Untethered Voyages, this booking includes $100 bar tab per cabin.

What about gratuities? We recommend prepaying at the discounted rate of $20 per person per night - it's one less thing to think about onboard. If you'd rather pay as you go, the onboard rate is $22 per person per night.

What should I pack? Layers. Alaska in late June is mild but changeable - think 50s–60s°F at ports. You'll want a waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, and one nice outfit for dinner if you want it. We'll send a full packing guide before departure.

Can I come solo? We don't have Solo Insider cabins in our group block - and honestly, we'd steer you toward a balcony cabin anyway. Watching wildlife from your own private outdoor space is one of the highlights of this itinerary. If you'd like to explore solo options outside our group block, reach out and we'll see what's available.

What if I need to cancel? Life happens. Here's how Virgin Voyages' cancellation policy works:

    Days Before Sailing

    What Happens

    More than 121 days

No cancellation impact. Deposit is refundable only if you cancel within 7 days of booking - after that, the deposit is non-refundable.

    120 days or less

No refund. However, if you cancel 46 days or more before sailing, you can apply what you've paid toward a future sailing within one year, or move to a new departure date within the same window.

This is exactly why we strongly recommend travel insurance. A good policy protects your investment if something unexpected comes up - illness, a family emergency, a work obligation that can't wait. We can help you find the right coverage when you book. Just ask.

  • Ready to Go to Alaska?

You've been saying next year for long enough. We've got the ship, the dates, and the space held. The hardest part is clicking the button.
