You'll gather around a fire pit on arrival before following the lanterns to your table for dinner, with the distant roar of the falls, the grunt of hippos, and the call of the African night as your soundtrack. Ilala palm trees, manicured lawns cascading to the river's edge, and a star-studded sky overhead. It's the kind of place that makes you put your phone down and just be present.
The food is set menu and uncompromising - freshly baked bread, homemade pasta, Zimbabwe beef prepared to perfection. Wine and water are on the table waiting for you. Once you're through those, the cash bar is open and fully stocked.
