Today we cross the Arctic Circle once more, venturing even deeper into the untouched wilderness of Finnish Lapland. The farther north we go, the quieter the world becomes — forests grow denser, rivers wilder, and the air sharper and fresher than you imagined possible.
By afternoon, we’ll arrive in Saariselkä, a remote village tucked into the fells. This will be our home for the next two nights — a place where silence is golden, the horizon stretches endlessly, and the midnight sun refuses to set. Imagine opening your window at midnight to find the sky still glowing in shades of gold and rose, as if the day itself doesn’t want to end.
