Originally the private home of Colonel Anand Kanwar Khanna, a veteran of the British Indian army, the property has been welcoming guests for over twenty years and is now run by his son and daughter-in-law with the same warmth and personal touch that has made it a firm favorite among discerning travelers. Each of the 16 rooms is individually designed, with a distinctly home-like feel. The rooftop terrace is the heart of the property — where breakfasts are served each morning alongside homemade jams and freshly baked bread, and where dinner, prepared on request with the finest ingredients, feels more like a meal in someone's home than in a hotel. The signature banana bread, served at afternoon tea, has become something of a legend among guests. Humayun's Tomb is just a short drive away, while Lodhi Gardens, India Gate, and the metro are all easily accessible — making this the ideal base for exploring the city, while always having a quiet haven to return to.
