Depending on weather and sea conditions, today may continue our Drake Passage crossing or bring us our first sight of Antarctic ice on the horizon.
Should conditions allow for a swifter crossing, we may reach the South Shetland Islands or outer reaches of the Antarctic Peninsula sooner than expected, providing the opportunity for early exploration.
If still at sea, the ship remains alive with activity. Lectures, photography sessions, wildlife sightings, and time on deck prepare us for our first landings.
There is no rigid script in Antarctica. Flexibility is part of the expedition mindset.
And that is part of the adventure.
