Free morning sailing towards Antwerp
Guided tour of Antwerp
Good morning, Belgium! Today’s pace is pure bliss — slow, scenic, and just the way we like it. Pour yourself a second cup of coffee, grab a spot on the Sun Deck, and watch the world float by as we glide down the River Scheldt. You’ll see charming riverside villages, tidy little farms, and maybe even a few locals on bikes who’ll wave as we pass.
By afternoon, we’ll arrive in Antwerp, the stylish, art-loving city that gave us the great Baroque painter Peter Paul Rubens (and yes, you’ll see why the man loved a bit of drama). Our local guide will show us the highlights — the grand Grote Markt square with its gabled guildhouses, the magnificent Cathedral of Our Lady, and the glittering history of the world’s diamond capital.
After the tour, the rest of the day is yours. Maybe pop into Rubens’ lavish home and studio, browse a few boutiques, or simply settle into a café with a Belgian beer or hot chocolate and watch Antwerp do its thing.
Tonight, we sail again — the city lights twinkling in the distance, the laughter on board growing a little louder, and everyone starting to feel like old friends. 🌆🥂
