This morning your guide meets the group at the hotel and you head east across the Forth Bridge into the Kingdom of Fife for your final day trip.
St Andrews is one of those places that earns every bit of its reputation. Your first stop is the cathedral ruins, once the largest church in Scotland, now a hauntingly beautiful skeleton of stone overlooking the sea. Your guide brings the history to life before you have free time to explore the town at your own pace.
St Andrews is made for wandering. Cobbled streets lined with independent shops and cafés, a world class university that has been here since 1413, and the kind of coastal light that makes photographers stop mid-stride. You will also make a stop at the Old Course, the most famous golf course in the world, for a photo. You do not have to care about golf to appreciate it.
Back in Edinburgh by early afternoon with the rest of the day free before we gather one last time.
Tonight we meet at the hotel bar for a farewell drink together. To Scotland, to new friends, and to whatever comes next.
