Terminal V is inspired by Miami's palm groves, with a sweeping canopy roof and lots of glass for natural light and water views.

• Check-in: you can check in before noon to skip the queue later
• General boarding: begins around 2:00 to 2:15 PM, but Sailors must follow the specific Terminal Arrival Time selected in the Virgin Voyages App rather than a single fixed boarding time Cruise Ease
• Departure: 5:00 PM

Your arrival time is assigned and shown in the app, it works like an airline boarding group. If your scheduled slot says 3pm, that means 3pm, arriving early won't get you on any sooner. Status/loyalty tier holders can get earlier boarding windows. CHRISTINE LOZADA

• From the airport: PortMiami is about 8 miles from Miami International Airport (MIA). Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) is also a reasonable option.
• By car: I-95 S to Exit 2D toward I-395 E/Miami Beach, then follow signs through the PortMiami Tunnel to N Cruise Boulevard.
• Rideshare/taxi: there's a dedicated drop-off zone directly in front of Terminal V.
• Parking: available at the port if you're driving and leaving your car for the week.

• If you haven't printed luggage tags ahead of time, they're available at the terminal, and porters (who handle and tag your bags) appreciate a tip since they aren't Virgin staff.
• Space inside the terminal is limited, so if you arrive well before your window, you may be held in shaded outdoor queue areas until boarding opens.
• After dropping bags at 9:00 AM, you're free to explore Miami until your arrival window, no need to hang around the terminal all day.
• Your Virgin Voyages app functions as your key. It shows your exact boarding time and doubles as your room key and payment method once onboard.
