A day at sea aboard Resilient Lady is far from a day with nothing to do. With no port to rush off to, sea days are built around the ship itself, pool time, fitness classes, live music, spa treatments, and dining across more than 20 venues, all included in your fare.
Virgin Voyages bundles more into the base fare than most cruise lines:
Pool Deck & Outdoors Sunbathe by the pool, catch some sun on the topless sunbathing deck, or use the outdoor jogging track. Expect hosted pool games, seesaws, and ball games scattered throughout the day.
Fitness The B-Complex Gym offers state-of-the-art equipment plus a full class schedule, from high-intensity interval training to sunrise yoga on the front deck, one of the most popular sea day activities onboard.
Games & Social Spaces The Dock House hosts chill live music and timed team puzzle challenges. The Social Club has board games and casual drop-in sessions. The rotunda often runs game-show style hosted events throughout the day.
Shopping Onboard boutiques carry designer names like Chanel, Marc Jacobs, and Rolex, alongside high street brands like Sephora, plus a shop for sun care, essentials, and merchandise.
Coffee & Culture Grounds Club, the ship's coffee shop, runs coffee courses and tastings and doubles as a spot to pick up a printed copy of the day's activity schedule.
The Redemption Spa on Deck 5 is the go-to for sea day relaxation. Highlights include:
Booking tip: Spa treatments are not included in the fare and popular time slots fill up fast, especially on sea days. Booking in advance, either before sailing through the Virgin Voyages app or as early as possible once onboard, is worth doing rather than waiting to walk in.
The Squid Ink Tattoo Parlor is one of Resilient Lady's more unique features, letting guests get a permanent memento of the voyage from skilled onboard artists.
