• Grand Bahama took a hard hit from Hurricane Dorian in 2019 and has rebuilt steadily since. Infrastructure is solid again, but some areas still feel less developed than pre-storm.
• Taxis here are typically metered and government-regulated, negotiate or confirm the rate before you get in if using an independent driver.
• Since this stop comes right before your Rendezvous Day at sea, it's a good one to keep low-key. No need to overdo an excursion the day before the big fleet meetup.
