AmaWaterways operates a smart casual standard onboard. There are no formal nights, but the dining rooms are elegant — think pressed trousers and a nice blouse or a casual blazer rather than jeans and sneakers at dinner. The Juneteenth-inspired cultural dining event and the live performance evening are both worth dressing up for. Ashore, dress for cold weather and comfortable walking.
All destinations on this cruise use the Euro except Budapest, which uses the Hungarian Forint. Your onboard account settles in USD at the end of the cruise. Bring some cash in euros for Christmas Market vendors, who often don't take cards. Gratuities are not included in the package — the customary amount on AmaWaterways is approximately €12-15 per person per day, settled at the end of the cruise.
Unlimited Wi-Fi is included throughout the cruise. International roaming charges from your mobile carrier still apply for cellular data when ashore — consider a short-term European SIM or an international data plan from your provider for the days you're off the ship.
AmaRudi's elevator reaches the Violin, Cello, and Piano decks. If you have mobility needs or medical requirements, let us know in advance so we can coordinate with AmaWaterways and ensure your excursion choices are appropriate. Bring all medications in your carry-on bag with original prescription labels.
