This is a 10-day winter river cruise through Central Europe. You'll be outdoors at Christmas Markets in near-freezing temperatures, dining in elegant onboard restaurants, and walking cobblestone streets in Budapest, Vienna, and Munich. Pack accordingly.

• Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond December 14, 2027 — verify this now)
• Copies of passport stored separately from the original

• Heavy winter coat (wool or down — this is real cold, not resort-cool evenings)

• Waterproof, insulated walking boots or shoes — cobblestone streets get icy in December and you'll be on your feet for hours ashore

Most guests fly into Budapest (BUD) and out of Munich (MUC). Check your airline's baggage allowance before packing. AmaRudi staterooms have good storage, but Category E and D cabins are 205 sq. ft. — efficient packing makes life easier. Packing cubes are strongly recommended.
