Vancouver is the kind of city that disembarkation day almost feels like a gift rather than an ending. The setting - mountains behind, ocean in front, Stanley Park jutting into the harbor - is legitimately one of the most beautiful urban environments in the world, and the city has grown into it: exceptional food (fresh Pacific seafood, a restaurant scene shaped by one of the most diverse populations in North America), world-class museums, and outdoor access that most cities can only dream about. If you're ending your cruise here, build in at least a day. You'll want two.
What we'd suggest: Stanley Park for the morning (the seawall walk is one of the great urban walks in the world), Granville Island Market for lunch, and dinner in Yaletown or Gastown. We'll handle the hotel.
