Today, the Camino leads us from the quiet landscapes of Zubiri toward Pamplona, following the Arga River through wooded paths, small villages, and the rolling countryside of Navarra.
As we approach Pamplona, the character of the day begins to change. The peaceful rhythm of the Camino gives way to the unmistakable energy of San Fermín, as we arrive on the festival’s opening day and enter a city transformed by celebration.
After three days on the trail, our arrival offers an extraordinary contrast: from the solitude and reflection of walking to streets alive with music, tradition, and revelry. Settle in, experience the atmosphere, and enjoy our first taste of one of Spain’s most legendary celebrations.
Today, two remarkable traditions meet—the centuries-old pilgrimage of the Camino and the exuberant celebration of San Fermín.
