Today, the Camino carries us deeper into the landscapes of Navarra, as the terrain gradually opens into expansive farmland, rolling hills, and vineyards, a preview of the celebrated wine country ahead.
Leaving Estella, we’ll pass through small villages and agricultural landscapes that have shaped life in this region for generations. Along the way, the route passes the famous Fuente del Vino at Bodegas Irache, where pilgrims can traditionally enjoy a small taste of local wine before continuing west.
As the miles unfold, villages become fewer and the countryside more expansive, creating long stretches of trail that invite conversation, contemplation, or simply the pleasure of walking.
We end our day in Los Arcos, a historic Camino town that has welcomed pilgrims for centuries. With nearly a week of walking behind us, today offers another opportunity to appreciate the Camino at its simplest: the landscape, the people beside us, and the road stretching ahead.
